What's on your mind?

I have been waiting for the Brazil trip to be over with to write a new blog entry. However, if anyone has a good idea for a post, then leave a comment.

What would you like me to discuss?

  1. Hmmm, how about Welcome to the Riley's? Have you seen it? Or the fact that she is one of the top ten in the highest paid actress category? Or you could talk about roles you would like to see her in. I'd be interested in knowing what kind of person you would like to see her portray. For example: villain, assasin, hero, etc.

  2. I just recently found your blog, and I love the way you think, Opy. For a topic, how about why Kristen and Rob are so good together? Or not? Many female fans hate Kristen out of pure jealousy, or they may think Rob isn't good enough for Kristen. I have my own reasons for believing they have an inspired connection, but it would be interesting to hear other thoughts.

  3. WTTR comes to Austin tomorrow. I think I'll see it Saturday. That's great she is in the top ten. I think Kristen has as much and probably more talent than the women in front of her. I worry sometimes that because her personality is similar to mine, that people misread her as aloof or disinterested. She is not "bubbly" but I like that about her. But for her the double standard comes into play. Actors like Johnny Depp aren't bubbly and ARE somewhat aloof. It didn't hurt Depp. I have faith that Kristen will get a role and make a movie that everyone knows about. And she shouldn't have to behave any different. I have allot of respect for Matt Damon. Wouldn't mind seeing her act with him. It's going to be interesting to watch her and Robert over the next few years. I hope they get to work together again on one of those feel good movies like Forest Gump.

  5. Sorry, Opy! No, I haven't yet read through your old entries -- but I will. I'll try to be better informed when I make my next suggestion.

  6. I didn't mean it like that, Robin. My views on R/K are probably similar to yours. I think they are a sight to see! And rare.

  7. Hello, I suggest a discussion/exchange if thoughts about Welcome it the Riley, as it happens. I have seen the film in New York(Yoko Ono was there too, but I think she was there to watch a new indie film about John.) I loved the actors. Kristen's role was very fast paced. Doug and his wife were like in a different world, in slow motion. Very profound script statements. My favorite, almost epic and cult like was courtesy of Kristen. She is in a car with her protector Doug counting money she apparently pull out out off her erase after a night of working in a strip club. Doug desperately tries to stop her foul language stating that he didn't feel comfortable speaking about female private parts. "I DON'T HAVE PRIVATE PARTS" says Kristen(M). What a choking and powerful statement. Doug goes silent. Imagine, to so empty emotionally and physically alike. Another quote was made by Dough's wife. More or less she stated that SHE DIDN'T STOP LOVING HIM AFTER 30 YEARS OF MARRIAGE OR was NOT GOING TO LEAVE HIM JUST BECAUSE HE LEFT HER(and had some affairs). Very strong, real love statement.
One minus of the film- it was very dark, poorly lit for the most part on it. Didn't capture the beauty of NO.

  16. I would love to discuss the commentary on Eclipse that Kris and Rob made, I know it is a spoiler but I downloaded and have listened to it 3 times already and have laughed so hard each time. They are just so cute together and I saw where some delusional people think they are not together after hearing it " Am I crazy?.... as it made me feel just the opposite"!
