So we haven't seen Kristen in awhile. I know she likes it that way and deserves the long break she has gotten from the frenzy.
I want to see a Vamped out picture of Bella but definitely not from the lens of a paparazzi. Neither do I want to see Kristen in a picture she doesn't consent too. So I don't mind this so called "drought" If there were pap pictures, I would end up looking. So it's better to not be tempted.
I knew after Brazil that too much was given away. Fans always want more. But that week literally provided enough pictures to last for months. I am glad R/K have had this long break away from the public eye.
There are horror stories about cops in Louisiana, but when a Parrish needs money, everyone including the cops is going to see that the guest bringing money are treated like Royalty. The Entertainment Industry seems very active over there. It's good for the Gulf region and Hollywood is saving money as well. Its not just about the cops. You don't see pap or even phone camera pics because everyone, including restaurant proprietors, other hospitality workers, real estate people, and the everyday citizens walking around know that they want to keep these movie stars feeling welcome and safe. Someone getting too aggressive with their camera would be quietly removed from the scene. I wouldn't be surprised to learn if a pap or two has spent a night in jail (or worse) if the stern warning wasn't enough to get him/her out of the area. This has been a win for the cast, especially Rob and Kristen. If these two co-produce any of their own upcoming movies they might support production in Louisiana.
There isn't a more sought after target than R/K from the Stalkerazzi and they have gotten nothing over the past few months. Those same photographers will be waiting in Vancouver.
The only negatives coming out of the "drought" are that gossip sites stir pots with old stuff. No real info comes from that so it's only an issue if you let it be. Nothing has changed. Nor will anything change based on what does or does not happen at award shows over the next month or so.
As for new movies being discussed. I don't think Kristen will do Lois Lane and I am glad as I have never cared for Superman in any version. I have mixed feelings about American Girl. I like the story, but don't care for James Woods, mostly because of his Ultra Right Wing views.
With Snow White, my first reaction was "kids movie" but upon looking further it's much more than that. Fairy Tales can be interesting science-fantasy fiction. Fairies, or the Fay, in some literature are another type of immortals. I like Chairlaine Harris's version of the Fay. CH writes the Sookie Stackhouse Novels, which True Blood is based loosely on. I say loosely because Alan Ball took True Blood in it's own direction and hasn't respected some of the most
critical story lines. I am opinionated about True Blood. I despise Alan Ball and love Charlaine Harris. So Snow White and the Huntsman may be good and I just read they have offered the role to Kristen.

How did Kristen become even more beautiful?
There are aspects of this new hobby of mine that are a bit embarrassing. Like watching second rate award shows. When I get back to doing what I really should be doing, I will not watch much TV at all. I went through a time a couple of years ago when I was training for triathlons and I gave my TV away. Not until I was injured did I buy the 50 inch screen and the premium cable package. That period of time without a TV was great. I don't plan to goto that extreme again, but I won't be seeing these award shows live.
Last year, I didn't watch any award shows, not even the Oscars. Its just too boring. And some of you know how I feel about most of Hollywood. Freakin attention whores "look at me!" I don't want to see them. I still will not make watching such a show the priority of the day (there weren't any college Bowl games last night). If I had plans last night, I would have still DVR'd the People's Choice Awards because I haven't seen Kristen in public in a long time. The first 90 minutes of the show was pretty unbearable and I actually hit the fast forward button once. I didn't work. I did enjoy those 10 minutes in which Kristen was on the screen. She looked more gorgeous than ever.
I have mentioned Kristen's beauty many times. Its a rare kind of beauty that I'll mention again and again. There are other traits about Kristen that have made her the first celebrity I have ever really cared about. As I have said repeatedly, I think highly of Robert too, but it was Kristen that made me notice his uniqueness as well. There have been times in my life when I was complimented/admired/honored. I get nervous and my leg shakes and I hope like hell they don't ask me to speak. Yes, this rarely happens and when it does, its on a scale that can not begin to be compared with her moments. But my moments have happened and I never outgrew those nerves. For me a "crowd" might have been ten or less people. I doubt Kristen gets nervous in small groups. But its adorable seeing her still react so like me. She is the talk of the town. No doubt she and Robert are who everyone wants to see and be seen with. Last summer I remember there was a story about Rob and Kristen at the after party of the Eclipse premiere. They were the two most sought after people at the party everyone wanted to be at. I read that, after some R/K PDA, she left early, saying she felt "claustrophobic." I was stunned to hear that because I have left parties citing that reason exactly. I thought this odd trait only affected me. This behavior of mine sometimes made people think I was rude or uncaring or full of myself. They had no idea how I really felt. I see this type of behavior in Kristen and I know I'll always be a big fan.
Kristen was nervous last night. And still private. She is not going to behave like people want her too (or think she should) when she is in a fish bowl that the world is watching. I was curious if the days of not allowing herself to be too affectionate with Robert were over. But she isn't ready or she was just too nervous. That's her business. Fans do not get to dictate how she behaves. What she has with Robert is very private for her and when she becomes ready to let her guard down (all of the time) it will be when she is ready. Yes we have seen many unguarded moments. Last night, however, was very guarded. When she is conscious about being watched in such a large fish bowl, she is intentionally more inclusive with Taylor. It was clear she was playing the Twilight card last night. There may have been something too Robert not initially planning to go. It kinda seemed staged that Taylor walked her up the isle. But this is not worth a second thought. What happens in public is not too relevant in the big picture. Its such a small window of their day. Last night Kristen was being professional. Even still her tendency (when not guarding herself) was to lean closer to Robert and to look to him in those instinctive moments. There were some good R/K pictures last night. Despite her guarding, it was clear there was a difference between Robert and Taylor. If people are trying to make something out of her attempts to be neutral (I am sure they are...keep it away from me) don't listen to these people. You know the truth about what is real. Its been less than a week since she was with Roberts friends and family in the UK during their very brief vacation. You know they are aware of what is said about them, good and bad. This might affect how she behaved (I hope not), but I think it was really just her being nervous. She is anything but predictable.

I was stunned by Kristen's beauty last night. I didn't think she could become prettier and hotter. Those legs looked even better. She is not completely done with her transformation into a woman, so she will continue to stun us. As gorgeous as she is, I feel a slight bit badly for Robert, because as he joked about on the Eclipse DVD, "someone is always getting in her business" Rob has the legions of female fans organized online, but some of his peers, young good looking actors who aren't his friends, are going to be attracted to Kristen. Its unavoidable. He doesn't have anything to worry about. She has demonstrated over time her devotion to him. But still, if she were my GF I would get nervous about taking her out and watching her admirers grow by leaps and bounds as she continues to get more beautiful. Yes Robert can have many women, including her peers. But she is too unique. I think he is enamored with the same traits about her that I find so adorable.

Happy New Year
It was a good year overall for me personally. I survived this economy yet again.
This new hobby is something I would have never anticipated or believed. It happened in 2010.
Outside of a handful of musicians, I haven't considered myself a fan before. This is not to say I haven't enjoyed movies all of my life. I have. But there was never any incentive to learn about the actors outside of what they do on the Silver Screen.
I have had favorite actors. I still remember
Matt Damon and Ben Affleck going from relative uknown to superstars in 1996 after they refused to sell the screenplay to Good Will Hunting. They still seem like good guys, but I am not anxious to learn what their next projects will be.
Other actors I really like: Steve Buscemi (I hope he has a scene with Kristen in OTR) and Phillip Seymour Hoffman.
I thought Paul Thomas Anderson was the up and coming director who could do no wrong (Boogie Nights, Magnolia) ---> what happened to him? I obviously didn't care enough to keep up. Plus, they are guys.
I am glad I became a fan of one Kristen Jaymes Stewart. There are so many rare qualities about her. She gorgeous in a way that I have seen before in a few women I met but not in a celebrity.
What makes her so attractive is NOT something that she has to work at. She is just beautiful regardless of her efforts. Its the inner beauty that must give her such pretty skin, eyes, and bone structure. And she has the right curves for my taste.
I didn't expect that I would also give a flip about her boyfriend, but Robert is a unique
individual as well and Kristen chose him. I have said many times it would be difficult to see her with some arrogant dude that doesnt treat her like Robert seems to. I'll let others talk about Roberts physical traits and talents but I know a good character when I see it in a man. Like Kristen, he was raised by good people.
The combination of Rob and Kristen's rare personal traits and what they have experienced over the past few years is a fascinating thing to watch.
I am not saying they are the only good personalities in Hollywood, but others just don't have an appeal that interests me. When I check
websites, that I would never goto in the past, I ask myself "what the hell am I doing here?" The news about these other people just isn't interesting.
Obviously I am not the only one that feels this way and unfortunately with this level of interest, their is bound to be some negativity.
I still think the vast majority of followers are good people. But that ugly minority, hiding behind internet anonymity, makes this difficult to stomach at times. Many
times over recent weeks I wanted to distance myself. I realize today that bailing is not fair to the majority of positive, caring people out there who appreciate the same
things about this as I do.
For the record, people that disagree with me are not bad simply because they disagree with me. I only judge people on their actions.
Its nearly 6 p.m in the UK as I write this at noon here. I hope Robert and Kristen have a great night with no intrusive disruptions.
I said after Brazil there were enough pictures to satisfy for awhile. I hope most of us remember that.

KJ saved this blog
Following Kristen (and thus Robert)is supposed to be fun. I witnessed some people getting too serious about all of this last week. This "hobby" took the place
of following politics for me. If its not fun, then I start thinking about moving on.
I prefer to write positive entries about Kristen and that is what I do half the time. I sometimes react to negativity, and that is what I really want to change. My post on 12/1 really incited the Nonsten crowd. I didn't enjoy writing that. It was in response to me hearing about threats towards Kristen
from some "fans" of Rob. Oh, I do believe in everything I said in that post, 100%, but I can't change peoples minds, so why bother.
After the private picture, or actually, the reaction to the private picture, I thought about deleting this blog. The atmosphere just seemed very wrong.
Had I not read KJ's blog last Friday night, then I might have deleted everything. She reminds me what is good and right about this whole thing.
If you haven't read her post please do so
http://musingsonotherqueens.com/2010/12/16/the-season-for-perspective/
I have studied alternative forms of spirituality for years, including a dose of Eastern religion. KJ doesn't talk about this, but I can tell she has been influenced by it. Some teachings talk about the "higher self" and KJ's writings have a knack for reaching that part of me.
KJ reminded me to focus on the work, she writes
"Kristen and Rob have both made it abundantly clear that they prefer to proceed through their daily existence with little to no attention paid to them. Of course,
they acknowledge that they have extremely high profile professions, and there are public appearances and press junkets they're to attend for the J-O-B
(and oh how we appreciate how well they clean up). . ."
I think about how it would feel to have people obsessing over your every move. I would not respond very well to it. Some people might not mind it because they love attention. I started this blog because I became enamored with Kristen. I had never been a fan of a celebrity before and one of the things I think is so
cool about her is how she doesn't really care for the spotlight. She is the opposite of an attention whore. Living in the spotlight has been an adjustment for her. She refused to be fake. I love that about her. She seems comfortable with the media now. Its a treat watching her give an interview because she still allows us to see her mind at work as she processes the questions.
Robert is very unique too. Part of the fascination of the R/K story is how these two unique individuals met. I personally think it was Darwinism on steroids. And I like hearing that they are happy together. I don't see that changing. But I remind myself, with KJ's help, to focus on the work and let them be. There will be plenty of opportunities in the future to observe them on the platforms of their choosing.

The mere existence of Nonsten is absurd at this point
Over the past nine months many events have occurred involving Rob and Kristen that are consistent with how committed couples behave. A picture. A sighting. Whatever. These are all events that only reinforce what sane people already know.
The only people who would deny these events as being relevant are those that have an
irrational need (aka fantasy) that Rob and Kristen not be together. For whatever reason, these fantasies require that R/K be single.
I started following all of this in March of this year. No one influenced me into
believing anything. I just looked at the pictures and read the interviews that were in the past. At that time, I could see the possibility for reasonable doubt.
I can't anymore. In my opinion, as much as Rob and Kristen don't want to talk about their private lives, they know their actions have told the story and they must be frustrated (and/or frightened) with the fantasy & hate fueled groups who can not accept what its front of their eyes. R/K don't want to discuss this with the media, but they have shown enough that it should not be necessary for a verbal confirmation. I suspect this frustrates them a bit.
If these events were happening to any other people, the matter would be dropped.
End of discussion.
I find it difficult to believe that such a thing as Nonsten actually exist. There have been so many events over the past year that platonic friends do not do. When confronted with these facts, the Nonsten crowd --- and actually I am finding the gayStew crowd to be just as viscous ---- resorts to their "PR" claim, as if R/K are so under the control of Summit, that they would carry on a fake relationship through 2012.
Kristen has said for a long time now that something so personal must be kept close and not be used for profitable entertainment. The two are consistent in their "we will not talk about it" stance when it comes to the media. There was a time when they might have denied the relationship, but that has not happened in over a year. Their actions over this time frame tell the story and I think Rob and Kristen are very aware of this fact.
There is an OVERWHELMING amount of evidence that anyone with common sense should be able to figure out. When those with no axe to grind learn the story, read the facts, and see the pictures, they will invariably see these two as a committed couple. There is no doubt these two are very much together. Its no longer debatable.
Some known events that platonic friends just don't do
- spend the Holidays together, including New Years Eve
-fly around the world to see each other on the others movie sets
(especially on ones birthday - Kristen spent her 20th birthday in
Budapest, Hungary where Robert was filming Bel Ami)
- then Rob goes to Montreal and New Orleans.
I thought that Budapest was the end of the debate. But I was still new. Anyone that lives by common sense would say that was the end. I underestimated the level delusion these folks maintain in order to keep their Rob fantasies alive. I find it odd that the most common term these Nonstens use for who they call "the sheep": delusional. As if these "sheep" were reading something into nothing when a girl leaves LA days before her birthday to spend time in Budapest, Hungary with Robert.
So many events followed. These events keep happening with regularity. More pictures are out today. But I will refrain from mentioning these in the discussion. I'll leave out the common knowledge that Rob and Kristen have pretty much lived together since he returned to the States to begin working on Water for Elephants.
To me these pictures from the Eclipse premiere made it obvious. People don't look at each other this way unless you have deep feelings.

Nonstens were adamant that Rob wouldn't visit Kristen in Montreal. They were positive he would go to London instead. Wrong. Montreal was a PDA filled visit. Not until Robert visited Kristen in New Orleans did he make quick trip to London. Then he returns to LA and the couple has numerous dates. But oh no, they had frowns. They
were hating their time on those dates. SHUT THE FUCK UP you morons. Those frowns were about the paparazzi. But for good measure we see a picture days later of smiling and holding hands on a date. That forced idiots to revert back to their standby argument: PR
A Brazilian news outlet had a translation of a Kristen interview in which she said after Twilight is over, she will "tell everything" I don't trust that she actually said that but I wouldn't be too surprised because like anyone else, Kristen's attitude may change over time. The couple used to avoid being photographed together. There has certainly there has been a loosening of their determination to not appear as a couple. They seem to have become less concerned with it each month.
I am sure it's too much work to conceal it. The attitude we saw
in Brazil in which Rob and Kristen did not seem to care who was watching in between takes is definitely consistent with a softening of their stance.
Again its my feeling that they have already said "yes we are together" with their actions. Many, many, actions. And it annoys them, IMO, that some people can't interpret, or refuse to interpret, what they see.
Again, someone without an iron in the fire will have no doubt when shown the actions ( and non-actions like not being seen ever with other members of the opposite sex) However, you have a group of women determined to hang onto their fantasies about Rob, and this means he can't be in love ( as he appears to be).
Some Nonstens have shifted. A few finally understood it was absurd to keep claiming these two are not together in the face of insurmountable evidence. But their new views are still hateful, shifting to "I hope they make themselves miserable." Perhaps R/K do long for the end of Twilight --- but it won't be the end of R/K. Not from what I have seen with my two eyes.
The only people who would deny these events as being relevant are those that have an
irrational need (aka fantasy) that Rob and Kristen not be together. For whatever reason, these fantasies require that R/K be single.

A look back at Brazil
As always, everything I write is my opinion.
I think we got way more than expected or should ever ask for. So much that everyone should be beyond satisfied for a very long time.
The trip didn't start well from my perspective. I guess I am wary about what I think makes Kristen uncomfortable. And my opinion about that could be wrong.
First, we had pictures of them on the plane. That is never cool when they aren't aware. Then there was a crowd at the airport followed by screaming girls outside of the hotel. Those shrieks are more annoying than watching and hearing long nails scraped slowly over a chalkboard...why do girls do that? Its been young girls reaction to scream like this since the days of Elvis and The Beatles. Perhaps its like a heard instinct and they have no control over it. But I wish they would be taught early on to channel their excitement some other way.
Rob and Kristen are always kind and accommodating to these crowds, and if they were uncomfortable they do a very good job of concealing it. I imagine them
relieved and exhausted once they finally get to the room. I knew that crowd was waiting on them and I doubted we would see much of the pair.
I got an email about pictures on Sunday afternoon and I reluctantly stopped watching football for a little while. I was almost shocked to see
the couple waving from their balcony. I would have never expected to see that. That was the first of many surprises.

I suspect that behind closed doors
and with their friends, R/K are probably as touchy/feely as anyone we know. But when it comes to the public, I have accepted that Rob and Kristen will be less touchy/feely with each other than they will be towards their platonic friends. I can't blame that attitude at all, mainly because of the money involved in pictures that show any type of affection.
After seeing those balcony pictures, I felt something was different. Perhaps a new level of acceptance and/or serenity from Rob and Kristen. They know that most of their fans love seeing them together. And it must be annoying to have to fight against your own nature. In seeing Kristen with her friends, she appears to be a touchy/feely person, or even a hugger. To hold back on that with her boyfriend has to get old. I also think Rob has always wanted to grab her and hold her possessively in public but that he has refrained per her wishes. His behavior didn't change that much in Brazil.
It was really Kristen that seemed change, IMO. If Robert has complete freedom I think we would see allot more affection. Last week Kristen had her hands on Robert often. That was surprising. But it made sense to me after the balcony pictures. I really did sense something different. Even as they were leaving Brazil last Saturday Kristen was touching Rob. That may have been a first in an airport. I do not expect this freedom from restraint to hold, but it might.
Tons of pictures, some authorized others not. I don't feel guilty about the Street scene and the Beach set pics. Most of the others should not have happened.
On the street Rob and Kristen had to know that it wasn't just production cameras. They certainly didn't back away from each other between takes. They seemed very relaxed and were linked by hand or other touch in most of the pictures. The minority groups claim R/K "were just staying in character" --- Thats BS and those haters know it. Rob and Kristen could play Edward and Bella in their sleep. And if they were method acting, then why didn't Robert keep his American accent?
The waterfall pics probably should not have happened. It was hard to tell if some of those were on camera. This is when they looked the most like Edward
and Bella (due to makeup and hair) but they had to be Rob and Kristen because Edward Cullen doesn't smoke. They had their hands on each other in a casual way, which they usually do not do in public. They probably thought there were no cameras in this scenario. Kristen was pointing at something. Was it photographer hiding in the trees?
The pictures I really feel guilty for looking at are the ones when they went swimming. Its not like they did anything of note, but hadn't they been told that were were 60 armed guards on the premises? Its not what they did or didn't do. If they were lead to believe they had privacy, then the waterfall, piggy back, and swim pictures shouldn't have happened.
The pictures on beach with the cameras rolling ---- those were very hot, and the camera seemed close. Those pictures have to be good for business. I was not following all of this when the New Moon Italy set pictures came out. I do wonder if, once these pictures have been seen everywhere, is this something that brings in even more fans? Thinking about that scene, Bella trying to seduce the reluctant Edward, with the visual of Kristen in those short shorts --- for me was great. I bet Rob had difficult time pulling of the reluctant part (-: JK
I read a translation from a Portuguese Robsten site. The extra that hugged Rob during the street scene was saying she doesn't regret doing it. She seemed to be bragging and said that anyone that gets that opportunity should take it. I have to mention this which almost sours my favorite moment of the week, which was Kristen's reaction: The punch she wanted to give and pretending to pull her shoes off. I liked it. Rob and Bill Condon were smiling then, too. I would enjoy seeing Kristen get possessive and this was the closest we have seen.

It would be great to see Kristen tell her haters to FO and "Rob is hers so deal with it." Since she won't say that, plenty of fans will do it for her.
So this super secure lockdown in Baton Rouge is upon us. We were paid in advance for that.

I am such a sap, sometimes
I've admitted to enjoying the fan made R/K videos. When I see one and I am still thinking about it 15 minutes later, it's a damn good one. A shout out goes to the person with YouTube account Fiorels90 for the one titled "True Companion".
I am going to be hesitant to post this..... But not really. I'll sit on it for 24 hours, though. There is just so much unique and precious about these two individuals. If they weren't so special, I don't think i would have overcome the tendency of a straight male to deny being affected by these types of emotions, especially in people I have never met.
I remember with shame some of my experiences as a younger man when it was about conquests, not relationships. We showed the greatest admiration for that male among us with the most conquests under his belt. I played along with it. I am sure it's still the most commonly bragged about attribute among frat boys and even some bachelors into their 30s. But I am here to tell you it's a hollow feeling, and I knew it deep down even when I participated in this behavior. I believe in Karma and I am certain I have been paid back for transgressions of my own when I was the age of one Robert Pattinson. He is above this juvenile behavior practiced by many men and we should try to be more like him.
Frankly, as much as I think of Kristen (it's an admiration that grows stronger every time I see her) I couldn't bear to see her with a man that didn't treasure her the way Robert does. He knows he is the luckiest man on the planet. It's obvious in his actions.

I know many out there adore this couple. The love for R\K can develop quickly.
In one of my first post I discussed how this happened for me. The key part was that it happened quickly and nothing remotely similar had happened before. Within a few days of learning the names, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, I was experiencing the behaviors of what one might call a shipper. I don't need frequent pictures and public confirmations of their love. As special as I think it is, it's got to be protected. This is a rare thing that we may never see again.
When so many Hollywood celebs would eat up the attention R/K receive, they downplay it and seem embarrassed by it. Its a humbleness they exude. Last weekend, they run into a video store and run out, as they have no interest
in being seen. When everyone wants to see you, not being seen is just what they should do. But we have mountains of pictures and videos to refer back to. We may have to wait awhile before we get pictures that are of the same quality as
the Eclipse premier. When I say quality, I mean unguarded moments when they can't help but show affection for each other. But pictures that great should be rare. If those type pictures happened all the time, then we might not appreciate them as much as we do.
There are so many qualities of a strong personality that they show us as one entity, Robert and Kristen. (This is not to mention all of the little nuances that they both exhibit, such as their hand gestures and little habits, such as biting their lips and running their hands through hair).
I think R/K will be around for a long time, thus the "True Companion" video is a heart squeezer. They are nothing even close to a typical Hollywood couple.

Why the infrequent updates
I had hoped to update this blog twice a week, but that is just turning out to be unrealistic for me. Nearly all of the posts, and especially the ones
that were widely read, were written in about 20 minutes because I knew exactly what I wanted to say and got it done. I feel like I have gotten all of
my opinions out there regarding Kristen. I do find myself more impressed with her every time she is in the news. She is very rare and I have never
felt compelled to write about anyone before. I won't let her go undefended and I do want to know about instances when she is criticized. But at the same time,
I am not going to respond to the daily "foam" as some of my friends in this fandom would call it. The people out there claiming PR are just not credible. And PR professionals are getting ticked off
about their vocation being tarnished.
Message boards aren't credible. And for the record, I am not credible. Anyone can start a blog. Its up to the
readers to decide if they think you are credible. All I do is give my opinion. The lunatic fringe that hates Kristen or Robert will say and do anything to try and make
their case. They have to save Robert from himself. ***Yes. I acknowledge that the exact opposite exists as well**** Its so annoying. The haters on both sides combine to make
a loud minority. Some of their attacks are tragically personal as well. They might make interesting subjects of a sociological study.
I want to avoid this nastiness as much as I possibly can.
If someone dares to go negative about Kristen on a widely read blog, then I will step in and counter them. --- If you guys tell me about it. Other than that, I'll update this blog when I am inspired to say something.
Its hard to find a credible critique of Kristen as an actor. Anyone that has taken the time to see her in more than Twilight knows that she is a rare talent. The Roger Eberts of the world have been on board
with Kristen since Sundance last January.
Any remaining doubts of Kristen's talents will be gone by the middle of next year. After Welcome to the Rileys and On the Road have been seen, Kristen's skill will be widely known. Plus, we might be in for some joy come award season.
A few quickhits
---Kristen's hair change. Last summer, when I heard she was going blondish for OTR, I didn't want her to change. But now I have grown fond of the strawberry. I love the Bella hair too. Anytime she changes, whatever it had been will be missed.
---All the R/K date nights. I sure was glad to see that smiling picture came out. We don't know that they were aware of being photographed at that moment, but I hope they were. I decided six weeks ago that all pap pics are bad, even the cute ones. But they are going to happen regardless. And I have found myself unable to not look at them so far. If they did know they were being photographed, then there might have been some shift in the way they think about their public perception. Perhaps Rob's agent, who was in that picture, had convinced them to loosen up. Pure speculation here on my part. But I want to remain vigilant of not encouraging pap photos. I wish there was something I could do.
---Kristen did some serious flying over the past few days. We saw her with Rob on Friday in Baton Rouge. Then she was at the Scream Awards Saturday night ( I have my dvr set for 8 p.m. CST Tuesday) Then to NYC today. That's allot of air travel. I hope Summit or someone put her in a private jet for some of that travel.
--Need I remind anyone that Kristen is the Sexiest Woman on the Planet? See my post from 8/17. There will be lots more guys that feel this way over the next few years.
Till next time. I love the lip bite.

Missing Kristen
Everywhere I look everyone is talking about how they miss Kristen.
I can certainly relate. That beautiful smiling face, which can be shown in more different looks than I have ever seen, is addictive. Fortunately so many of you have archives of photos. I am guilty of watching the sappy R/K youtubes as well.
It's a lazy Saturday afternoon and I suspect Kristen is having a great time in the company of good people.
What a strange hobby\obsession this is! It's unlike anything I have experienced before. I love this time of year. And I am enjoying the things I normally do. Football. I do the whole thing: fantasy leagues, I have a nephew playing at the HS level. And I like to wager online. The weather is perfect. In other years I would go on a long bike ride on Saturdays. I plan to get back to that soon.
I don't need to see Kristen today. If i did see her, what are the chances it would be a photo in which her privacy is not being invaded? Not so great. If she isn't happy, then I don't want to see it. So the archive it is.
She and her company are probably enjoying this day. Believing that is good enough to feed the addiction, for me anyway.
I have mentioned before that when I have had an obsession on a female in the past, we knew each other, and had dated or at least had some type of banter going. If the said female was seeing someone else, then naturally that guy was the biggest jerk I knew. That is just not the case at all here. I like it that she is with Rob. He is not a jerk. I don't think Kristen would date a jerk. She has said she likes funny, self deprecating men. That is Rob. He seems like such a good guy. I wish the best for him as well.
We will see some pictures soon. The kind they don't mind us seeing. They will be working, but still enjoying each the company of one another. They may fight a few times over the movie. Then makeup.
For them, working on a movie together must cover a whole range of emotions. I am sure they feel some stress and the pressure to deliver. But this is what they are good at and why they are in demand.
Until then, cheers Rob and Kristen. May your weekend be as relaxed as mine.

The funniest speech ever.
Since we know our favorite couple must be getting some serious privacy, might I offer you a laugh? I never ask people to look at this kind of thing. It's worth it.
This guy is simply announcing his candidacy for county treasurer. I have never laughed at at political speech if that is what it can be called. The best is around 4:20
I promise to blog about R/K soon.

Why do you do this Ted?
When I started my obsession with Kristen, I quickly liked the idea that she was with Rob. Mostly because Rob seems so humble and I can't stand the idea of her being with some egomaniacal Hollywood type. I have seen more than enough that I have come to the conclusion those two are together. April though June erased any doubts I had. What has happened since has been SO unnecessary AND Rob and Kristen have been treated like zoo animals.
I started reading Ted for the first time last spring. For a few months, I could not understand why he caught so much crap from people that shared my views on Kristen ( including the real life deal with Rob ). He certainly said that Rob and Kristen were very real. And he seemed to like Kristen as much as I did --- and he is not straight. So why where people that agreed with me so angry at Ted?
I finally figured it out. Ted has to stir the pot. He can't just let it be. Perhaps he needs controversy -I don't know. Showing the pictures of the house was too much, though I thought he was acknowledging that as a mistake.
But Ted, why the hell are you providing a platform for the hateful side of this fandom? I read his entry this morning and some of the comments. Whoever wrote this comment sums it up for me.

This embarasses me. I have WAY too much respect for Rob and Kristen to partake in this. I think you'll find, Ted, that most of Team Robsten is far more interested in protecting Rob * Kristen's relationship than proving they were right all along.

Why not walk away from this?
Remember the story that came out a few weeks ago that suggested Rob and Kristen were going to stop doing Hollywood movies after their Twilight obligations were over? The story was quickly discredited as false.
I am sure it was false. However, from what I have learned about Kristen (and Rob ), the concept of escaping this rabid fandom has to be appealing.
I didn't pay attention to Rob/Kristen news for a few days and then learned late last night about the Kristen airport situation. What I am concerned about is it was ANOTHER airport situation for Kristen. This time was more about fear for her safety. It's not the same as what happened two weeks ago in LAX, but it is another event where large crowds are surrounding a person who sometimes describes a party as being "claustrophobic." I can understand that feeling.
After the Twilight Saga is over, Rob and Kristen will have a substantial combined wealth. Should they choose to live off the radar screen it can certainly be done. I would be happy for them if they went that route.
Of course the reason NOT to do this: they must take advantage of the iron while it's hot. How can they walk away from 15 million a movie right now?
Just thinking.
I apologize for the short blog entry. Just not feeling it right now. Good thing I am only writing this for myself, right? (-;

Blogger accusses Kristen of being miserable and bringing others down
In my last entry, I stated that those who feel Kristen Stewart is not handling her trips through LAX and have taken liberty to criticize her, then you need
to show us your qualifications. Show us an equally unpleasant situation and how you handled it with such grace, otherwise STFU.
I was shown a blog today by one shallow being name X. I decided not to name her or show the URL because she says nothing unique. To be honest, she has nothing original to distinguish her from fans who are simply jealous of Kristen.
The blogger says Kristen's middle finger is ultimately directed to you and me. Actually, Kristen is only flipping off the photographers who followed her on that long airport journey, or the ones who spy on her with a long lens. However, I will accept that I deserve anger or disapproval from Kristen if I am providing a market in which these pictures are bought & sold. I didn't elect paparazzi to represent my interest in the airports and other public places. I guess blogger X feels that she & paps are one in the same.
Blogger X has not only taken liberty to judge Kristen's LAX walks, but she takes it much further, basically equating Kristen to a miserable person who wishes to spread her misery to those around her.
For the sake of argument only, lets say this blogger is correct -- that Kristen did a bad job of handling her walk at LAX. So that also means that her all around behavior and demeanor is that of a miserable person with no joy in her life.
This blogger, and others like her, have two things they use to make this broad characterization. (1) Kristen hates being photographed by the Paparazzi, especially at the end of long plane trips (2) Kristen prefers to keep her personal life as private as possible. She won't spill to the press. Since those two items are true, then she must be a miserable person, who brings those around her down, and poor Rob is her biggest victim.
Forget that Rob and Kristen spend more time than any other celebrities signing autographs and taking pictures with their fans. I wasn't aware that ungrateful, miserable people do that.
So no other celebs have a tendency to raise their middle finger at the paps? Really?
Interestingly, X writes that we fans are fortunate that people such as Johnny Depp have not misbehaved so poorly in response to paparazzi intrusions. Depp has not only used the middle finger, but he was arrested for fighting with the paparazzi in 1999.
Forget that anyone who has ever worked with Kristen goes on and on about how much fun she is to be around and how easy she is to work with.
Forget that her personality is far from typical. She is shy and perhaps a bit introverted. She is very intelligent and she doesn't behave exactly like every other
Hollywood celeb. Don't cut her any slack for not being a robot.
And she is dragging down Robert with her? According to blogger X Kristen manipulated Robert into a relationship. And he is so weak and helpless, that he is stuck with Kristen and her miserable ways.
If there are chains that would attach one to Kristen, then sign me up.
Is it not possible that Robert wanted that relationship even when he thought he had no chance at it? Is it not possible that Robert might be attracted to confident women who are very much on the non-conventional side? Oh, and when he is not with Kristen in airports, he is just full of joy and smiles right?
And since the Teen choice awards were addressed --- in that Robert kept his hands to himself and did not seem to be having a good time --- it must be that damn Kristen
has taught him to be miserable. It couldn't possibly be that he misses her? That he is the happiest when she is around?
It seems to most observers, but apparently not blogger X, that Robert's smile with Kristen around is huge. But if you take her away then it appears he is just going through the motions. Because she makes him miserable, ya know.
The blogger even had a solution --- dump Robert and date someone not in the business. Because you know we have complete control over who we are attracted to. If its not convenient, then it certainly can't be worthwhile.
Our blogger says she knows what's Indie, and since Kristen prefers this type of movie to box office smashes, she sold out by doing Twilight. So when everyone who made Twilight thought it might be a cult classic --- they were all lying? When did Kristen say she would only do Indie movies? What I have heard her say is being famous gives her the choice of roles to take and for that she is quiet grateful for what has happened with the Twilight Saga.
Also, per the blogger, Kristen's decision to be in movies means she chooses this rabid attention. The blogger compared it to enlisting in the military and hoping to avoid war. So Kristen must be the only private person to make it in Hollywood. Anyone else, say Sean Penn, Chris Cooper, Jody Foster --- their lives have always been an open book, right?
X's garbage blog is full of accusations that Kristen is ungrateful and miserable, yet she has only the airport example and Kristen's refusal to discuss her relationship. There is no weight to her claims. She seems no more than a jealous Rob fan who resents Kristen for having what she wants. Rob, on the other hand, thinks Kristen is very special. He doesn't want or need the support of blogger X.

Friday was Bittersweet
Yesterday should have been an end to all of the doubters, haters, or whatever they are called. But this is at least the 5th time I felt that way.
Even if Rob went back on Oprah and jumped on the couch like Tom Cruise, shouting his love for Kristen, then those people won't go away.
Now that the excitement had waned just ever so slightly, I hope some of us will ask ourselves the question: is this acceptable to use these pictures for our happiness when we don't know how Rob and Kristen feel about these pictures?
Everyone gets upset when the paparazzi makes Rob and Kristen uncomfortable. I was so angry after Sydney I was ready to fight. I still don't know if it's ok to
celebrate because of the means in which these pictures were gathered. I said this yesterday in the midst of all the excitement. I should have waited until today.
I may not say anything else on this topic. I don't want to turn this blog into a downer, but I always say whats on my mind. I just hope most of us are thinking about this. It's makes Friday 8/13 bittersweet IMO.

More on why this affects me
I went to the 0RCD (Obsessive Robsten Compulsive Disorder) website and took the test so I know that I
AM a Robsten shipper. Now that my disorder has held for longer than a couple of months, I am more and more convinced that there are more of us out there (straight men caught up in this). Socialization of what's manly, maybe even a little homophobia, is what keeps others in the closet. I have not read Romance books before Twilight and it was the vampire element that drew me in but the love story that hooked me. I have never been a fan of any movie star, or a public relationship. These two are so unique and they seem so genuine. The obsession for me is mostly about Kristen. I get upset when I see criticisms of her. People that do not see the genius in her and effortless beauty are just too damn narrow minded to get it. I also feel protective of the couple and unfortunately there is no shortage of attackers online.
If Kristen were dating some typical Hollywood personality it would be painful to watch. Rob seems very humble and deserving. He is also very talented. Its easy to root for him. Their shared traits of shyness and reluctance to fame (more evident in Kristen) are endearing qualities.
What do I get out of this: it seems similar to witnessing an underdog overcome obstacles to reach the pinnacle of success. I guess. Its different. Love is a powerful emotion and it's very rare to witness a couple in the public and "just know" I think the couples decision not to speak publicly makes it more powerful. When you see them watching each other, there is no doubt that the feelings are genuine. I suppose the watcher needs to have experienced love themselves in order to see it in others.

Bizarre Nonsten crazies turn the delusion up a notch
Oh how the past couple of weeks have eliminated any doubt that Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson have been dating for awhile.
Aspects of Kristen's unique personality and style, which are sometimes far from typical, make her very appealing. Her flaws, such as the tics and lip biting, are adorable.
She does not behave like typical Hollywood movie stars. I don't think she wanted anything close to this kind of fame. True, it allows her to make choices others can only dream about, but is it worth the price to her.
Kristen is introverted. Not many introverts achieve the kind of fame she has. She is beautiful without putting any effort into being so. My main point is this: Kristen Stewart is not an attention seeker. Excessive contact with people drain the energy out of introverts. She does not like hype events like the Red Carpet.
The norm would be to love getting attention on the red carpet. The norm is bragging to the world about your boyfriend who is the most sought after man on the Earth. These are typical Hollywood traits that Kristen iS NOT.
IMO Robert does as Kristen wishes. As she stated in Elle this spring, to discuss your personal life is to cheapen it. So we will never get a verbal confirmation from Rob or Kristen.
But the fact is: they are a real life monogamous couple. Working together on Twilight they met each other. Darwinism was in overload when these two met. They are ideally suited for one another.
Signs of the relationship have been apparent for over a year, but now it's beyond a shadow of a doubt.
What's interesting is those determined to disprove in Robsten have began acting out in the most bizarre manner in recent weeks. Their behavior is now desperate and scary.
If any of you Nonstens come across this blog, please tell me why it's so important for you to dispute Robsten. What's in it for you?

What a difference a day makes
Monday, the Nonsten crowd, those intent on denying a real life Robsten relationship, were giddy regarding Rob's comments on The Today Show. By Midnight, the pendelum swung back the other way. The Today Show was not a denial, anyway. I am too tired to repeat quotes from each show. I just want to journal the story at at non journalistic level to see if this blog gets picked up by the search engines.
Robsten lives. As strong as ever. Did you guys see the video during the Jimmy Kimmel taping. Rob stood around waiting for Kristen. She shows up and he immediately springs into action, watching her and waiting for any chance to protect her. Then as he walks behind her he bites his lips and grazes her but. She noticed and did not appear to be annoyed in the slightest.

Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson have not denied their relationship
There is a large group of people who dispute that there is any offscreen romance between Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. They celebrated yesterday as they feel two separate media events took place that "denied" the relationship.
Pattinson said he never goes on dates and he would like to "put that out there" He also muddied the waters further by saying he does not want to "settle" when discussing the concept of marriage and "settling down."
Stewart, when asked what bothered her the most about being interviewed, mocked previous interviewers who asked her a question with the premise that Pattinson was her boyfriend. She repeated what she said to those interviewers "I did not know I had a boyfriend."
Neither of these events confirm OR DENY a Pattinson/Stewart relationship.
What we know for certain is that neither will confirm the relationship verbally. These two are very different from other celebrities. They are determined not to reveal the "yes" or "no" on their potential relationship.
What is true is there are many days in which the two have been in each others presence outside of their responsibilities for the Twilight Saga.
They go to great lengths to avoid the paparazzi. Many private individuals have observed them acting very much like a couple with no media and cameras around. They have also behaved in such a manner at public events, that common sense will lead one to draw conclusions that they are together. A verbal confirmation or outright denial is not going to happen. They seem very determined about this.
It's only actions that people witness that determine if there is something going on outside of work. The biggest indicator was Stewarts travel to Budapest, Hungary to spend her 20th birthday in April while Pattinson was filming Bel Ami.
Over the past weekend at a Twilight fan event in Los Angeles, Pattinson seemed to be teasing Stewart. When asked who he would like to play the role of him in a movie, he said "my son" then stared and laughed at Stewart as she blushed. Then asked about his upcoming favorite scene in "Breaking Dawn" he said " I just like babies" and again laughed while Stewart blushed. He was clearly taunting Stewart.
Robsten is clearly messing with the public. It's there way of getting a little revenge for their lack of privacy.
