I wanted to get something written so those that follow this blog don't assume I have decided to stop. I am not going to stop but there might be longer gaps in between posts as this is a busy time of year for me. Plus New Years resolutions usually involves a time commitment, right?
Since last March i have spent enough time to learn the basic story of Kristen Stewart over the past few years. And i have stayed fairly current. But honestly i don't need to be as current as I have been. The daily stuff that happens should be less of a priority because there can be too much drama. Drama can put me in foul mood. The large parts of the story aren't going to change.
Kristen continues to define, for me, the perfect woman/actress/good person. It appears a Jolie like philanthropy is in the development stages. I know of Jolie's work from watching CNN. And sure she is pretty and all. But as you know, I much prefer Kristen for many different reasons (which i have covered on these pages) and when she gets her projects going, I'll contribute. Kristen is in good company with Robert. I really don't think that relationship is going to end anytime remotely soon, even after Twilight --- despite the best efforts, lies and propaganda from Hatesten. So the right thing to do is accept it and let them be. Its a very honorable trait to stick to your principles as R/K have. Don't you have allot more respect for a couple that keeps it private as opposed to the ones who will tell you all about it on E? I don't understand why some people don't get that.
It kinda sux that there will only be one movie with Kristen in it this year. I read that we are probably looking at this time next year before On The Road comes out.
I rely on several of you, including Tammy @PattzStewGlobal to fill me in on stories that I might miss, sans the drama. I'll never understand most of the drama, except that it's about two exceptional people. I hope they are sheltered from most of it. When I first started into this, I stayed on another heavily moderated, drama free fan site. That was the best place to be as i learned about Kristen. They sheltered me from even knowing about all the BS out there. I should have never ventured out from the safe confines of that site. They know who they are, and if they happen to read this I am grateful for the experience I have had and will continue to have there. If only the worrisome R/K fans would limit themselves to that type of drama-free, heavily moderated content, then much less crap would be seen from day to day by the rest of us.
I'll be buying my first ever copy of Vogue. I seem to remember discussions last spring of an Editor with a God complex who was determined to have Kristen's account of her and Robert. Kristen wouldn't give into her principles. You gotta love that. This may not be true, but lots of people discussed it back then. The pictures out this week are incredible, except for that one -- and it wasn't Kristen's doing that resulted in that bizarre creation. The interview was lacking the warmth and camaraderie of the British Elle article. Plus one statement from the writer kinda ticked me off. They basically said Kristen still struggles with on camera interviews. I call bullshit on this. I saw dozens of interviews on camera between Eclipse and now and she did very well on all of them. I also grant that Josh Horowitz with MTV does the best job with Rob and Kristen. They like him. Thus he can get away with a bit more than the rest.
I am all talked out for now. Take care.

How did Kristen become even more beautiful?
There are aspects of this new hobby of mine that are a bit embarrassing. Like watching second rate award shows. When I get back to doing what I really should be doing, I will not watch much TV at all. I went through a time a couple of years ago when I was training for triathlons and I gave my TV away. Not until I was injured did I buy the 50 inch screen and the premium cable package. That period of time without a TV was great. I don't plan to goto that extreme again, but I won't be seeing these award shows live.
Last year, I didn't watch any award shows, not even the Oscars. Its just too boring. And some of you know how I feel about most of Hollywood. Freakin attention whores "look at me!" I don't want to see them. I still will not make watching such a show the priority of the day (there weren't any college Bowl games last night). If I had plans last night, I would have still DVR'd the People's Choice Awards because I haven't seen Kristen in public in a long time. The first 90 minutes of the show was pretty unbearable and I actually hit the fast forward button once. I didn't work. I did enjoy those 10 minutes in which Kristen was on the screen. She looked more gorgeous than ever.
I have mentioned Kristen's beauty many times. Its a rare kind of beauty that I'll mention again and again. There are other traits about Kristen that have made her the first celebrity I have ever really cared about. As I have said repeatedly, I think highly of Robert too, but it was Kristen that made me notice his uniqueness as well. There have been times in my life when I was complimented/admired/honored. I get nervous and my leg shakes and I hope like hell they don't ask me to speak. Yes, this rarely happens and when it does, its on a scale that can not begin to be compared with her moments. But my moments have happened and I never outgrew those nerves. For me a "crowd" might have been ten or less people. I doubt Kristen gets nervous in small groups. But its adorable seeing her still react so like me. She is the talk of the town. No doubt she and Robert are who everyone wants to see and be seen with. Last summer I remember there was a story about Rob and Kristen at the after party of the Eclipse premiere. They were the two most sought after people at the party everyone wanted to be at. I read that, after some R/K PDA, she left early, saying she felt "claustrophobic." I was stunned to hear that because I have left parties citing that reason exactly. I thought this odd trait only affected me. This behavior of mine sometimes made people think I was rude or uncaring or full of myself. They had no idea how I really felt. I see this type of behavior in Kristen and I know I'll always be a big fan.
Kristen was nervous last night. And still private. She is not going to behave like people want her too (or think she should) when she is in a fish bowl that the world is watching. I was curious if the days of not allowing herself to be too affectionate with Robert were over. But she isn't ready or she was just too nervous. That's her business. Fans do not get to dictate how she behaves. What she has with Robert is very private for her and when she becomes ready to let her guard down (all of the time) it will be when she is ready. Yes we have seen many unguarded moments. Last night, however, was very guarded. When she is conscious about being watched in such a large fish bowl, she is intentionally more inclusive with Taylor. It was clear she was playing the Twilight card last night. There may have been something too Robert not initially planning to go. It kinda seemed staged that Taylor walked her up the isle. But this is not worth a second thought. What happens in public is not too relevant in the big picture. Its such a small window of their day. Last night Kristen was being professional. Even still her tendency (when not guarding herself) was to lean closer to Robert and to look to him in those instinctive moments. There were some good R/K pictures last night. Despite her guarding, it was clear there was a difference between Robert and Taylor. If people are trying to make something out of her attempts to be neutral (I am sure they are...keep it away from me) don't listen to these people. You know the truth about what is real. Its been less than a week since she was with Roberts friends and family in the UK during their very brief vacation. You know they are aware of what is said about them, good and bad. This might affect how she behaved (I hope not), but I think it was really just her being nervous. She is anything but predictable.

I was stunned by Kristen's beauty last night. I didn't think she could become prettier and hotter. Those legs looked even better. She is not completely done with her transformation into a woman, so she will continue to stun us. As gorgeous as she is, I feel a slight bit badly for Robert, because as he joked about on the Eclipse DVD, "someone is always getting in her business" Rob has the legions of female fans organized online, but some of his peers, young good looking actors who aren't his friends, are going to be attracted to Kristen. Its unavoidable. He doesn't have anything to worry about. She has demonstrated over time her devotion to him. But still, if she were my GF I would get nervous about taking her out and watching her admirers grow by leaps and bounds as she continues to get more beautiful. Yes Robert can have many women, including her peers. But she is too unique. I think he is enamored with the same traits about her that I find so adorable.

Happy New Year
It was a good year overall for me personally. I survived this economy yet again.
This new hobby is something I would have never anticipated or believed. It happened in 2010.
Outside of a handful of musicians, I haven't considered myself a fan before. This is not to say I haven't enjoyed movies all of my life. I have. But there was never any incentive to learn about the actors outside of what they do on the Silver Screen.
I have had favorite actors. I still remember
Matt Damon and Ben Affleck going from relative uknown to superstars in 1996 after they refused to sell the screenplay to Good Will Hunting. They still seem like good guys, but I am not anxious to learn what their next projects will be.
Other actors I really like: Steve Buscemi (I hope he has a scene with Kristen in OTR) and Phillip Seymour Hoffman.
I thought Paul Thomas Anderson was the up and coming director who could do no wrong (Boogie Nights, Magnolia) ---> what happened to him? I obviously didn't care enough to keep up. Plus, they are guys.
I am glad I became a fan of one Kristen Jaymes Stewart. There are so many rare qualities about her. She gorgeous in a way that I have seen before in a few women I met but not in a celebrity.
What makes her so attractive is NOT something that she has to work at. She is just beautiful regardless of her efforts. Its the inner beauty that must give her such pretty skin, eyes, and bone structure. And she has the right curves for my taste.
I didn't expect that I would also give a flip about her boyfriend, but Robert is a unique
individual as well and Kristen chose him. I have said many times it would be difficult to see her with some arrogant dude that doesnt treat her like Robert seems to. I'll let others talk about Roberts physical traits and talents but I know a good character when I see it in a man. Like Kristen, he was raised by good people.
The combination of Rob and Kristen's rare personal traits and what they have experienced over the past few years is a fascinating thing to watch.
I am not saying they are the only good personalities in Hollywood, but others just don't have an appeal that interests me. When I check
websites, that I would never goto in the past, I ask myself "what the hell am I doing here?" The news about these other people just isn't interesting.
Obviously I am not the only one that feels this way and unfortunately with this level of interest, their is bound to be some negativity.
I still think the vast majority of followers are good people. But that ugly minority, hiding behind internet anonymity, makes this difficult to stomach at times. Many
times over recent weeks I wanted to distance myself. I realize today that bailing is not fair to the majority of positive, caring people out there who appreciate the same
things about this as I do.
For the record, people that disagree with me are not bad simply because they disagree with me. I only judge people on their actions.
Its nearly 6 p.m in the UK as I write this at noon here. I hope Robert and Kristen have a great night with no intrusive disruptions.
I said after Brazil there were enough pictures to satisfy for awhile. I hope most of us remember that.

KJ saved this blog
Following Kristen (and thus Robert)is supposed to be fun. I witnessed some people getting too serious about all of this last week. This "hobby" took the place
of following politics for me. If its not fun, then I start thinking about moving on.
I prefer to write positive entries about Kristen and that is what I do half the time. I sometimes react to negativity, and that is what I really want to change. My post on 12/1 really incited the Nonsten crowd. I didn't enjoy writing that. It was in response to me hearing about threats towards Kristen
from some "fans" of Rob. Oh, I do believe in everything I said in that post, 100%, but I can't change peoples minds, so why bother.
After the private picture, or actually, the reaction to the private picture, I thought about deleting this blog. The atmosphere just seemed very wrong.
Had I not read KJ's blog last Friday night, then I might have deleted everything. She reminds me what is good and right about this whole thing.
If you haven't read her post please do so
http://musingsonotherqueens.com/2010/12/16/the-season-for-perspective/
I have studied alternative forms of spirituality for years, including a dose of Eastern religion. KJ doesn't talk about this, but I can tell she has been influenced by it. Some teachings talk about the "higher self" and KJ's writings have a knack for reaching that part of me.
KJ reminded me to focus on the work, she writes
"Kristen and Rob have both made it abundantly clear that they prefer to proceed through their daily existence with little to no attention paid to them. Of course,
they acknowledge that they have extremely high profile professions, and there are public appearances and press junkets they're to attend for the J-O-B
(and oh how we appreciate how well they clean up). . ."
I think about how it would feel to have people obsessing over your every move. I would not respond very well to it. Some people might not mind it because they love attention. I started this blog because I became enamored with Kristen. I had never been a fan of a celebrity before and one of the things I think is so
cool about her is how she doesn't really care for the spotlight. She is the opposite of an attention whore. Living in the spotlight has been an adjustment for her. She refused to be fake. I love that about her. She seems comfortable with the media now. Its a treat watching her give an interview because she still allows us to see her mind at work as she processes the questions.
Robert is very unique too. Part of the fascination of the R/K story is how these two unique individuals met. I personally think it was Darwinism on steroids. And I like hearing that they are happy together. I don't see that changing. But I remind myself, with KJ's help, to focus on the work and let them be. There will be plenty of opportunities in the future to observe them on the platforms of their choosing.

What I most look forward to in Breaking Dawn
As much as I sometimes feel Twilight is an obstacle standing in the way of the film that will become the signature moment in Kristen's career, I am definitely looking forward to seeing her as the baddest vampire in the Saga.
Sure it will be cool to see her wake up and reunite with Edward. Then to bond with her daughter. Then those visits to see J Jancks, when Js underling describes her as a supermodel. I hope that they can fit all that in to part II.
But the climatic scene, the battle, this is what I most look forward to.
In the battle scene, Bella loses her patience with Aro's posturing and wants nothing more than to get on with the fight. This Bella who taunts Jane with the knowledge that her little gift will touch no one on the Cullen side. This Bella that knows the Cullens can win because of her power. They dared to come and threaten her loved ones and she will make them pay. Kristen as the bad ass Bella who is ready to slaughter, who only regrets her shield because that means she has to stay back away from the hand to hand. She really wanted to kill Jane herself. I really want to see Kristen stare down Dakota. This will be fun and something tells me Kristen can't wait to do this.
Two years is too damn long. In the meantime, I am looking for some good
fan art of Kristen vamped out.

The mere existence of Nonsten is absurd at this point
Over the past nine months many events have occurred involving Rob and Kristen that are consistent with how committed couples behave. A picture. A sighting. Whatever. These are all events that only reinforce what sane people already know.
The only people who would deny these events as being relevant are those that have an
irrational need (aka fantasy) that Rob and Kristen not be together. For whatever reason, these fantasies require that R/K be single.
I started following all of this in March of this year. No one influenced me into
believing anything. I just looked at the pictures and read the interviews that were in the past. At that time, I could see the possibility for reasonable doubt.
I can't anymore. In my opinion, as much as Rob and Kristen don't want to talk about their private lives, they know their actions have told the story and they must be frustrated (and/or frightened) with the fantasy & hate fueled groups who can not accept what its front of their eyes. R/K don't want to discuss this with the media, but they have shown enough that it should not be necessary for a verbal confirmation. I suspect this frustrates them a bit.
If these events were happening to any other people, the matter would be dropped.
End of discussion.
I find it difficult to believe that such a thing as Nonsten actually exist. There have been so many events over the past year that platonic friends do not do. When confronted with these facts, the Nonsten crowd --- and actually I am finding the gayStew crowd to be just as viscous ---- resorts to their "PR" claim, as if R/K are so under the control of Summit, that they would carry on a fake relationship through 2012.
Kristen has said for a long time now that something so personal must be kept close and not be used for profitable entertainment. The two are consistent in their "we will not talk about it" stance when it comes to the media. There was a time when they might have denied the relationship, but that has not happened in over a year. Their actions over this time frame tell the story and I think Rob and Kristen are very aware of this fact.
There is an OVERWHELMING amount of evidence that anyone with common sense should be able to figure out. When those with no axe to grind learn the story, read the facts, and see the pictures, they will invariably see these two as a committed couple. There is no doubt these two are very much together. Its no longer debatable.
Some known events that platonic friends just don't do
- spend the Holidays together, including New Years Eve
-fly around the world to see each other on the others movie sets
(especially on ones birthday - Kristen spent her 20th birthday in
Budapest, Hungary where Robert was filming Bel Ami)
- then Rob goes to Montreal and New Orleans.
I thought that Budapest was the end of the debate. But I was still new. Anyone that lives by common sense would say that was the end. I underestimated the level delusion these folks maintain in order to keep their Rob fantasies alive. I find it odd that the most common term these Nonstens use for who they call "the sheep": delusional. As if these "sheep" were reading something into nothing when a girl leaves LA days before her birthday to spend time in Budapest, Hungary with Robert.
So many events followed. These events keep happening with regularity. More pictures are out today. But I will refrain from mentioning these in the discussion. I'll leave out the common knowledge that Rob and Kristen have pretty much lived together since he returned to the States to begin working on Water for Elephants.
To me these pictures from the Eclipse premiere made it obvious. People don't look at each other this way unless you have deep feelings.

Nonstens were adamant that Rob wouldn't visit Kristen in Montreal. They were positive he would go to London instead. Wrong. Montreal was a PDA filled visit. Not until Robert visited Kristen in New Orleans did he make quick trip to London. Then he returns to LA and the couple has numerous dates. But oh no, they had frowns. They
were hating their time on those dates. SHUT THE FUCK UP you morons. Those frowns were about the paparazzi. But for good measure we see a picture days later of smiling and holding hands on a date. That forced idiots to revert back to their standby argument: PR
A Brazilian news outlet had a translation of a Kristen interview in which she said after Twilight is over, she will "tell everything" I don't trust that she actually said that but I wouldn't be too surprised because like anyone else, Kristen's attitude may change over time. The couple used to avoid being photographed together. There has certainly there has been a loosening of their determination to not appear as a couple. They seem to have become less concerned with it each month.
I am sure it's too much work to conceal it. The attitude we saw
in Brazil in which Rob and Kristen did not seem to care who was watching in between takes is definitely consistent with a softening of their stance.
Again its my feeling that they have already said "yes we are together" with their actions. Many, many, actions. And it annoys them, IMO, that some people can't interpret, or refuse to interpret, what they see.
Again, someone without an iron in the fire will have no doubt when shown the actions ( and non-actions like not being seen ever with other members of the opposite sex) However, you have a group of women determined to hang onto their fantasies about Rob, and this means he can't be in love ( as he appears to be).
Some Nonstens have shifted. A few finally understood it was absurd to keep claiming these two are not together in the face of insurmountable evidence. But their new views are still hateful, shifting to "I hope they make themselves miserable." Perhaps R/K do long for the end of Twilight --- but it won't be the end of R/K. Not from what I have seen with my two eyes.

A discussion on Welcome to the Rileys ******spoilers******
I felt some further discussion was warranted on Welcome to the Rileys as my post on it last week was very brief. If you haven't seen the movie and do not wish to be spoiled, then do not read beyond this paragraph. If you have to wait for the DVD, and many of you have no other choice, then come back then. This post will still exist.
I live in Austin and we were in that second group of cities to get the movie on November 12th. Austin is allot smaller than Chicago and they didn't get the film? WTF?
After I saw the movie on 11/16, I emailed my friend, fanfic author "the shrew", AKA @edmett
*****************
Just saw it. Just walked in the door. You told me you would be curious as to my reaction to the "nudity"
I do not see how anyone of a mature mind can take anything sexual from this movie. They did a good job of making her perfect skin look oily, on the verge of a acne breakout. I wasn't turned on by her dirty mouth, either, not in this setting. I would have been had I heard Bella talk that way LOL
I felt paternal towards Mallory most of the time. It broke my heart that she didn't go home with Doug and Lois. The ending only gave the slightest glimmer of hope.
Are people making an issue of the 1.5 seconds, split between two different shots, that we see Kristen's bare ass? This movie certainly didn't encourage the "in the gutter" part of my brain.
This email goes on to my ramblings of how Kristen really seems to be turning Bella into a sex symbol after seeing some pictures from Brazil

Okay, so more thoughts on WTTR -- yeah, people that haven't seen the movie, some of them still think that she looks "hot" in the movie, and that she is sexy in it. No, that really isn't the point, as you know from having seen the film. That paternal feeling is exactly what they were trying to invoke in the audience -- well, paternal or maternal. You are supposed to care for the girl and want to take care OF her. Her life is tragic, and we are supposed to want to make everything better for Mallory. Just like we are supposed to want to help Doug and Lois. Their pain is so palpable and engrossing. My heart broke for both of them as well. Lois for feeling responsible for her daughter's death. Doug for losing his daughter and blaming his wife.
BUT, the point of the film is that all three of the characters go through such a journey. They are all essentially the waking dead. Dead to the world. Dead to the good in life. Dead to human connections. Doug tried first to recapture that in his relationship with Vivian, but when she ACTUALLY died, well, I think that showed him the difference. As he tells Lois, "he isn't dead." He wanted to live. Which then set everything else into motion.
I think Doug and Lois got some closure about their daughter's death through their interactions with Mallory. I know that sounds obvious, but I just mean, I think that it helped them both to realize that with teens, there can be little control. I think it helped them see that they weren't "responsible," and in a way, they got to say a better goodbye to their daughter through Mallory.
The time that the three characters were together allowed them all to reach out again. The fact that Mallory calls Doug at the very end tells me that she still wants that human connection. She wants to have him be part of her life. She needs him as a friend. She needs him as a grown up that she can run to in times of serious need. In a way, Doug allowed her to recapture a small part of her stolen childhood. She had to learn about letting people help her, accepting it.
What do you think?

I think your analysis is freaking awesome and I wish could have said it so gracefully.
I didn't feel enough hope, at the end. It was only upon further reflection and finally this email from you to put it in the right perspective.
Clearly, anyone thinking there was anything sexy about it got it wrong. Did they even see it? Yes, she has a nice butt (correction an amazing bodacious butt) however those scenes weren't racy and I do not think Jake Scott intended them to be. I am glad my paternal reaction was what they were trying to accomplish.
The scene at the end, the one that was trying to say "there is hope" is the one time they didn't alter Kristen's naturally stunning face. She was very pretty in that scene and it must have been for cinematic effect to contrast the mood with the rest of the movie.
My pessimistic side is what dominated my feelings in the theater at the end. Yes, she was calling Doug, but she was on the way to Las Vegas to continue working in the sex trade. I wanted her to say to Doug "so, I have never been to Indiana" thus deciding to live with the Riley's and let them all continue to heal each other. But that may have been too unbelievable, IDK.

I had the good fortune to read the draft of the script that had a more "rosy" ending. People thought it was too unbelievable, and not realistic enough. Perhaps my view of the end is still with the impression that it reaches that first ending -- in which she IS living with Doug and Lois. I think they DO get there, it just takes longer. And without showing MORE of their transition and growth, then it might not have played out well on film. Reading it, it totally worked for me.
That is always what I have said, that those people who thought it sexy got it wrong. No, Jake Scott NEVER intended to sensationalize or sexualize the story. He de-emphasized that so strongly. WTTR got down to the deeper issues at play. Sure, she is a stripper and prostitute, but what does that mean? This movie delves into answering that question.
You are right about that last scene. The natural beauty of her face, it came through. She is more natural. She may be going to be a stripper, who knows? Perhaps she is only going to dance from then on? I like to think that when she leaves, she is more in control of her life, and is able to make more decisions to get out of that life.
I have been thinking about writing a fanfic about WTTR that picks up where the movie left off.

Now, what did you think about the movie? Even if it's February and you just watched on DVD, give us your thoughts below.

One more thing. I pieced this together last night and I needed @edmett's OK before publishing. I had not even thought about contributing to the WTTR fund before this morning. I hope some of you will contribute $5 or whatever you are comfortable with. I know its not a charity. I send plenty of money to good causes. This is more of an indulgence, but I think its worth the effort.
